The Mont Avic Wildlife Park is located in Covarey, a hamlet at 1300 m above sea level in the municipality of Champdepraz, in an area surrounded by the largest bog pine wood in the region.
The animals in the park can find a peaceful environment where they can live a second life. They come from a recovery center in Northern Italy where they are treated following an accident. Some of them cannot be re-educated to live in freedom and in the Mont Avic Faunistic Park they receive the necessary protection to continue their life.
A world waiting to be discovered!
Marmots, ibex, roe deer, chamois, red squirrels and many other mountain dwellers are waiting for you…
